Vacancy Filler get hairy with Movember Fundraising

Find me on:

The employees at Vacancy Filler Recruitment Software are trading their razors for beard oils as they support the Movember Movement by growing their facial hair.

We have set up a Virgin Money account in order to collect donations from colleagues, customers, friends and family.

The Movember Foundation is the leading global organisation committed to changing the face of men’s health. Since 2003, millions have joined the men’s health movement, raising £402 million and funding over 1,000 programmes focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity.

Check out the image below to see who is taking part.

The hairy tale of Movember began with 30 moustaches but with the support of the public it has grown to be a global movement inspiring support from over five million moustaches.

Here at Vacancy Filler we have joined together as a company to support this charity. Our colleagues have volunteered to either grow their mo or if they already have facial hair they will lose their mo just to show their support and raise money.

For 30 days in November we will let our facial hair turn us into a walking, talking billboard for men's health and to raise awareness of the cause. Please follow our progress here and spread the word. Watch the space for our fun photo updates to see how we are getting on!

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to this charity. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.

We will update you with pictures as the hairy creativity begins to unfold on our furry friends.

We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
